Dawn and I had A GREAT Time!! July 2008

Dawn arrived Tuesday July 1st. We met in person for the first time. We met two years ago on Wunderground.com because of our shared intrest in taking pictures. We went to Jamestown in Williamsburg Va. Wednesday 7/2. Thursday 7/3 we had lunch with JoAnne & Lillian at the Kempsville Grill and then headed to the Virginia Marine Science Museum in Virginia Beach . Friday 7/4 we went to check out the locks at Great Bridge on the Intercoastal Waterway, then on to the Border Station in NC to shop a little. Took time out for a milk shake at the Dairy Queen. Then on to see the Cape Henry Lighthouse at Fort Story in Virginia Beach. On the road again Saturday 7/5 to Chippoakes Plantation in Surry Va and then dinner at the Rocky Bottom Grill on the James River. We had a busy four days. I have lived here my entire life and saw many things for the first time. Dawn continued on her cross country trip Sunday, heading on to South Carolina.
